Jocelyn Davies AM is the Welsh Assembly Government Deputy Minister for housing and has been an Assembly Member for the South East Wales region since she was first elected in 1999. She was born in 1959 and attended Newbridge Grammar school. She is a former Borough Councillor and was one of the first lay-inspectors of schools in 1993. She read Law at Oxford's University Harris-Manchester College. She is currently the Plaid Cymru Group's Business Manager in the National Assembly. Her political interests include Special Educational Needs and Constitutional Affairs and she is a member of the National Assembly, Health Committee, Audit Committee and Standards Committee.

Jocelyn Davies AC yw Dirprwy Weinidog Llywodraeth y Cynulliad dros dai, mae wedi bod yn Aelod Cynulliad dros ranbarth De Ddwyrain Cymru ers ei hethol gyntaf yn 1999. Fe'i ganwyd ym 1959, a bu'n ddisgybl yn Ysgol Ramadeg Trecelyn. Mae'n gyn-Gynghorydd Bwrdeistref ac yn un o'r cyntaf i fod yn arolygydd lleyg ar ysgolion ym 1993. Astudiodd y Gyfraith yng Ngholeg Harris-Manchester, Prifysgol Rhydychen. Hi yw Rheolwr Busnes Grŵp Plaid Cymru yn y Cynulliad Cenedlaethol. Mae ganddi ddiddordeb mewn Anghenion Addysgol Arbennig a Materion Corfforaethol ac yn y Cynulliad Cenedlaethol mae’n aelod o’r Pwyllgor Iechyd, y Pwyllgor Archwilio a’r Pwyllgor Safonau.
